    What are 5 qualities that turn you off in the opposite sex?

    I would not call them qualities if they have the power to turn me off. I would probably call them traits or mannerisms or habits. Anyhow, a smelly,dirty,scruffy,unshaved look in a man is the biggest turn off. Spouting obscenities/bad language is the next thing which men should not do in order to look cool and smart. Road rage in any form makes the person look frustrated and not in control of himself. Arrogance and ego only go to prove that the man is so full of himself and may even be having an inferiority complex. Staring at women or eve teasing fills me with anger and wants to strike out at the man. I simply detest men who have no respect for women.Not tipping/or giving small tips and being rude to waiters and doormen is not acceptable either. The list is fairly long but I would end it for now by saying that farting in public is not a sign of masculinity. Its just flatulence and indigestion and you should be taking some tablets for it.

    Don't just be a man,be a gentleman. You don't become any less of a man.

  • What is something that you have been putting off for a long time?



     GOING TO THE DENTIST !!

    I have this wisdom tooth coming out at an angle. Initially it was hitting against the tooth next to it and I used to have this pain occasionally. The dentist had suggested extraction of this wisdom tooth. I have been putting it off for months now so much so that the wisdom tooth has finally emerged. The pain is much lesser,but without an x-ray it would be difficult to determine its angle. And I am scared of dentists and tooth extractions,not to mention the injections(and I am a doctor for crying out loud).UGH !!

    But I have to be brave someday. Am waiting for that day to come.....

    If you ever testify in court, you might wish you could have been as sharp as this policeman. He was being cross-examined by a defense attorney during a felony trial. The lawyer was trying to undermine the policeman's credibility...  

    Q: 'Officer -- did you see my client fleeing the scene?'
    A: 'No sir. But I subsequently observed a person matching the description of the offender, running several blocks away.'
    Q: 'Officer -- who provided this description?'
    A: 'The officer who responded to the scene.'
    Q: 'A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called offender. Do you trust your fellow officers?'
    A: 'Yes, sir. With my life.'
    Q: 'With your life? Let me ask you this then officer. Do you have a room where you change your clothes in preparation for your daily duties?'
    A: 'Yes sir, we do!'
    Q: 'And do you have a locker in the room?'
    A: 'Yes sir, I do.'
    Q: 'And do you have a lock on your locker?'
    A: 'Yes sir.'
    Q: 'Now why is it, officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your life, you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you share with these same officers?'
    A: 'You see, sir -- we share the building with the court complex, and sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room.'

    The courtroom EXPLODED with laughter, and a prompt recess was called. The officer on the stand has been nominated for this year's 'Best Comeback' line -- and we think he'll win.     
    I hope he gets to read this...

  • BEWARE OF MARGARINE

    This is interesting . . .BEWARE OF MARGARINE !!!
     
     
    Margarine  was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys.  When it killed  the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted  a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with  this product to get their money back.
    It was a white substance with no food appeal, so they added the yellow  coloring and sold it to people in place of butter.  How do you like it?

    They have come out with some clever new flavorings.

    DO  YOU KNOW the difference between margarine and butter?
    Read on to the end...gets very interesting!

    Both have the same amount of calories. Butter is slightly higher in
    saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams in margarine.
    Eating  margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard  Medical Study.

    Eating  butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other  foods.  Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few  only because they are added!  Butter tastes much better than margarine and  it can enhance the flavors of other foods.

    Butter has been around for centuries whereas margarine has been around for  less than 100 years.

    And  now, for Margarine...

    Very  high in trans fatty acids.
    Triples risk of coronary heart disease.
    Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and
    lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)
    Increases  the risk of cancers up to five fold.
    Lowers quality of breast milk.
    Decreases immune response.
    Decreases insulin response.

    And the most disturbing fact... HERE IS THE PART THAT  IS VERY INTERESTING:

    Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC...
    This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and  anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing  the molecular structure of the  substance).

    You  can try this yourself:
    Purchase  a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area.
    Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things:    *  no flies,
    not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you
    something).


    It does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional
    value; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will  not a find a home to grow.  Why?   Because it is nearly plastic. Would  you melt your Tupperware and  spread that  on your toast    ?
